Hi, I’m Zoë. A wife, mom to four, author, ocean lover, and a believer set to a simple tune. My family and I currently live just outside Atlanta, GA — but as a retired military family we still aren’t settled in our forever place. Thats ok though, home is where the heart is.
I grew up moving around the U.S, later marrying into the military and continuing to move. It’s been a wild and excited adventure and we were fortunate to have called Hawaii home twice! After our first two kids were born I became the primary caretaker of the home, and all the stuff in it, while my husband deployed frequently for months at a time. It was during one of his deployments that the cost of my start starting becoming painfully obvious. In the stress and exhaustion of taking care of our stuff, my desire for simplicity, zero waste ( I’m still not there yet!), and minimalism was born. Over the last 7 years we have significantly reduced our possessions, keeping only what we feel adds value to the season we are in.
I love art, people, food and travel. I also enjoy talking all things psychology and medical. I’m and EFMP (Myers Briggs Personality Test) if you’re into that. I enjoy sharing tips, resources and encouragement to help you simplify your home and life.
My work has been featured on the Huff Po, Becoming Minimalist, and No Sidebar.
